Why lighting is different at a crypto conference
Crypto stages often run darker than a standard corporate conference, with heavy use of LED screens, blue and purple stage washes, and minimal fill light on the audience. A photographer used to bright corporate lighting will underexpose the crowd or blow out the LED screen behind the speaker.
We meter for the speaker’s face against the screen brightness, carry a fast prime lens for low light networking areas, and bring a small on-camera light for portrait sessions in dim side rooms. None of this needs to be visible in the final photos, but it is why usable images still come out of a dark hall.
Turnaround: what to expect
On some projects a first edited selection, usually 30 to 50 photos covering the key moments, can be delivered within 24 hours, with the full gallery of 150 to 400 images following after. This can be arranged when agreed as part of the brief, and it matters most for organizers who need images for a same-week recap post or press release.

- Half day side event: one photographer, 80 to 150 edited photos
- Full day conference: one or two photographers, 200 to 400 edited photos, sponsor folders included
- Multi day summit: rotating photographers per day, daily delivery of a same-day selection
